Hi all of you how are we today bit fed up with all the gloom and sorrow in the world, what you need is a pick you up!

Thank you all for signing up to my infrequent newsletters there will be more of next year. We have started our annual Christmas crazy sale, which will carry on until the end of January 2012

We have had a good year this year with catching up on my many years of hoarding and collecting superb minerals crystals and wonderful gems from all over the world, also stunning carvings from our skilled craftsmen in remote places of our planet. A complete redesign on our website and administration and accounting system, which according to the feedback that we have received is a vast improvement. This is down to our own hairy bogget Loki who is a maestro of the programing art and is a great guy he is Fi`s Fella. Fi for those of you who haven’t visited our store is our assistant in the shop and is a happy chirpy lass always ready to help and is a great help in the running of the Crystalman shop

This year has been a colourful one, with January covered in snow and ice. February was awash with early flowering plants, we have met some amazing people much as we do every single day of the week. Thank you all for making coming in to work on a cold wet horrible Monday so inviting as we have no idea who may walk in. There are some days that you might be looking in our shop and not realise who is also shopping as we have a very good reputation for not broadcasting who is shopping with us. So famous people can be just a casual shopper or on occasions it has been known that some will also act as an assistant when we are busy, one young lass got a right shock when she thought that I was serving her but it was a famous American actor Hee Hee. (Thanks)

But as it does bugger all for Glastonbury apart from empty the town and the police make sure no one can get to town as they have road blocks so great No Glastonbury festival this year.

We have redecorated the shop this year and introduced more Led lighting and remote sensors for when the cabinets are not in use the lighting goes off this saves power means lower bills lower carbon footprint means less increases in prices of stock we are all happy then. simples eh

If you have been looking at our web site, you will see a bubble with our catch phrase: "Come and rummage in my draws" this refers to the large cabinet in the centre of the shop crammed full of spheres eggs treasure Fi`s chocolate stash and some absolutely stunning mineral specimens from Somerset, Cumbria, Spain, Morocco Mars, Australia, even Norfolk in east Anglia and from all over the world. We most probably have the largest selection of Minerals Crystals Crystal spheres Eggs and our own Famous Mendip potato stone Also known as Dulcote agate we have 2 cabinets of this amazing stone all collected over a time of 30 years all stunning and unique

Welcome to the Glastonbury Frost Fayre 2011 Saturday, 10th December 2011 An Extravaganza of Seasonal Magnificence when Glastonbury's community comes together to celebrate peace and goodwill to all, at this festive time of the year. 11 am The official opening ceremony by Mayor William Knight, with the Glastonbury Churches Together Choir. The Frost Fayre open air Christmas Market' begins with an announcement by Glastonbury's Town Crier, Graham Coles. All happening outside St. John's Church, in the High Street. 12 noon Father Christmas's procession from the Market Place to Santa's Narnian Grotto, in Abbey Mews (56-58 High Street). from 1 pm Live music and performance at the Melodrome Stage & Inside Out café – at the top of the High St. 3 pm Meet the Mayor and Councillors for free mince pies and hot punch at Glastonbury Town Hall, in Magdalene Street. 6 pm Solstice blessing by the Arch-Druid of Glastonbury and the Bards of Ynis Witrin, at the Market Cross. Late night shopping until 8 pm. Other Attractions include: Horse and Carriage trips to Santa's Narnian Grotto, regularly leaving from the Town Hall in Magdalene Street (heading North) ! Chipperfields Children's Funfair, in St. Dunstan's Car Park (near Glastonbury Town Hall) Vintage Car line up on Magdalene Street. Where has that nice shiny sun gone its now damp & grey
Well what a year we have had it has been a smashing year thank you to all of the interesting people that have been to our store there has been a couple of real gems and you know who you are . This year we have served royalty filmstars soapstars happy people sad people and a few mad ones In the coming weeks we are setting up a facebook online store with things that will do other things etc its all tecy stuff that i dont understand but we are starting off with a generous reduction on various items over the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled as there might be that special some thing come along that you have had your eyes on Many thanks to you all Mike Fi
As of now we are no longer selling Nebula Jasper due to a change in copyrights of the name "nebula" A couple in america have made it their trade name for a type of rock found since before 1995 and is protected under the U.S. federal trademark law (15 U.S.C. §1125). This has just been brought to my attention so from now on what we were selling as it are now calling it Crocodile Jasper (formerly Kambaba Jasper or fossilized stromatolite algae) Many thanks for reading this Mike

We are not Europeans, how can we be? Europe is miles away, over the sea We're the English from England, let's all be proud Stand up and be counted - Shout it out loud! *Let's tell our Government and Brussels too We're proud of our heritage and the Red, White and Blue Fly the flag of Saint George or the Union Jack Let the world know - WE WANT OUR ENGLAND BACK !!!!

CRYSTALMAN Newsletter 16th December 2010 Merry Christmas, Happy Yule, & Season`s greetings from us all at the Crystalman This is our first newsletter; I would like to thank all of you for such an interesting and enjoyable 2010. We wish you all an enjoyable peaceful healthy and happy Christmas and New year. This year has been quite eventful, and a very rewarding year. We have met some amazing people from all corners of the world. Strange really, as the world is round. As you are all aware we changed our web site completely and have generated an easier, tidier more friendly site, with search engine, and some stunning images all of which I take myself, I use a Nikon D50, and recently a D90 with a Sigma ring flash, a Sigma DC 17-70 lens. All of my images are taken hand held with the occasional help, from one of our cats who seem to like the variety of boxes that are open at the time of selecting pieces to use. As Christmas is approaching fast, and the weather is getting ready, to cover us all in snow and chaos. With the stupid. Governmental increase on VAT in January. I am going to be having various sales on all of our products on our web site and selected items in our shop there will be some astounding reductions on some unique specimens and carvings and a variety of items that we stock. If you are local to us, or are coming to Glastonbury. If you purchase it over the web, and send me an email to say when you are coming to the shop and we will refund double your postage charges. One of the UK's most important symbols of Christianity has been destroyed by vandals. Glastonbury Holy Thorn Tree - famous for its link to St Joseph of Arimathea - was hacked down and reduced to just a stump. Isnt it a shame that we breed mindless morons who do such a act, They need stringing up where they cut the tree and suffer every ones anger lets hope the police catch the morons first.

This weekend Aliens and Humans mingle in Glastonbury for the annual intergalactic meeting of past future and yesterdays conclusions that Glastonbury is really in a far far distant galaxy called Avalon in somerset Where reality is just a figment of the closed mind and that just about something is really posible to be done after a good cup of hot tea of warm beer There is also the Psysic show on but not all are abel to be there as they wernt told We have just had our long awaited Rose quartz delivery in pieces the size of a shoe box and larger of a very fine tranclucent rose pink colour New Moldavite pendants now on this site and some new Black very chatoiant moonstone and some spangley optical calcite spheres these will be on site soon.

Hi all Summer is at last with us, June is now full of festivals music laughter and Rain. We have been very busy sorting new deliveries that have been recieved over the past few weeks from Madagascar with smashing coloured amethyst, Labradorite with colours not normally seen purples golds green and many other shades they look like peterol on water. wonderful green fluorite spheres and pebbles some large cut and polished ammonites and lots more At the end of this month our Gemmy rose quartz will be here hopefully enough to last a while this time just under a ton of high grade gemmy pink rose quartz At last our new hares are starting to arrive We have got in stock hares carved from Cumbrian Pencil ore high grade heamatite, petrified wood from usa, green & black tourmaline from cornwall, jasper and heamatite hares from st Just in cornwall these are so life like, Cornish white agate from Menheniott And our very own Glastombury gemstone The Mendip potato stone theseHares are so cute and rare Click Here these hares will be coming on line very soon Hope that you all have a good June and click back here soon all the best from us at the crystalman

Well at long last I can see the end of the list just over 75000 photo images sorted sized and coded what a game just 25000 left to go and the I can start on some of our new items which there are many Chinese Cuprites & native copper, brigh red Cinnabar crystals, Lush green epidote on and in quartz, Giant quartz crystals over 12 inches long, Blue & Red spinel in white marble, Old time Amertrine crystals,also some fresh Chondorite meteorites from Algeria still warm, And some new Creedite specimens from Mexico All the best for now and have a good May Holiday may be even see you in our shop Mike
